South Korean Tom Kim defended his PGA Shriners Children's Open title by holding off Canadian Adam Hadwin on the final hole at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas.

The 21-year-old, who took second place at this year's British Open Championship, shot a 5-under 66 to finish at 20 under.

It was enough to beat Hadwin by one stroke and win his third PGA Tour title.

Kim sank a 12-foot birdie putt on the 15th, and Hadwin paid the price for a bogey on the 16th.

"It's been a long season," Kim said. "I'm very lucky to play defense. I learned a lot this year. It was a blessing. I felt very humbled."

World No. 16 Kim birdied three of the first four holes and suffered back-to-back bogeys on the 5th and 6th holes to fall from the lead, but he bounced back with birdies on the 9th, 12th and 13th. , took the initiative.
