Tom Pidcock Conquers the Mountain Bike Cross Country World Cup Finale with a British Victory

British world champion Tom Pidcock wins the final stage of the mountain bike cross-country World Cup series in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Quebec.

The 24-year-old Leeds-born rider finished 26 seconds ahead of Switzerland's Matthias Flackiger, whose attempt was cut short due to two punctures.

Pidcock also won the opening race in the Czech Republic, finishing third and fifth.

Switzerland's Nino Schurter finished 14th but took the overall victory.

Pidcock, the reigning Olympic champion, wore the rainbow jersey as world champion after winning the title in Scotland's Glentress Forest in August.
